Would you believe, I still have my dear old Dad's Kodak Box Brownie camera from the early 1930's

He took most of my early photographs on it of me, from the time I was born!...(still have all the photo's)...

I had two of them at one time... but one of them has gone missing.....(Cameras, not Dads)!

I still have my grandmothers 1919 one. It is one of my most precious possessions. I learned how photography was done with it. My dad learned the same way and was a professional photographer for some years with his own studio!
Don't knock the old school eh Paul 8-)

Weather forecast looking good so far for Sunday 30th, so I may prepare some sandwiches and lemonade, fire up my trusty steed, and make my way to Shobdon to watch the air show, and taste some of the food, etc, on offer at the Food Fair!

(I may remember to take my camera...)

Have a nice time Paul. Whoever wrote that introduction can't spell airborne. :naughty:

I'll be off to Old Warden tomorrow for the first time this season. Looks like being a good show. 8) http://www.shuttleworth.org/tickets/event-details.asp?ID=195

Just got back from the open-air Food and Air Show Festival, on my bike...

Loads of aircraft there, including some interesting ones. Two of which immediately caught my attention were a 3/4 scale P51 North American Mustang, and a delightful example of my old British Army, Gypsy-engined, Auster Aiglet, spotter plane!
..plus a few others...
Lots of folks taking Trial Flights in the Club's Cessna 150, 152's, 2-seaters; and Piper PA 28 4-seaters!
A massive Food Festival, with all sorts of food and drinks on offer, but no free tastes available for me!.... :( ...buggar!...!
A lovely sunny day, if a bit blustery. The Wind Sock was mostly horizontal, which made for some interesting take-offs!... ...!

But most of all, what made the day really interesting for me, was observing the sheer tonnage of Female Fat, both young and old, clad in summer dresses, etc, waddling around the field, stuffing an equal tonnage of food down their fat throats.... ...!
I am amazed that the County of Herefordshire can contain so much acreage of female bodily fat without spilling over into the neighbouring Counties... :? ...!

The amount of traffic was a nightmare to negotiate upon leaving the massive car park!

The next meeting; the "King's Cup Air Race", is due to be held in August. Now that is loads of fun to watch...and hear!

Paul..... ...!

Popped into Sainsbury's on the way back to get a bottle of milk...and experience another environment containing another dose of excessive Female Fat... ...!

I know I will suffer nightmares tonight!.... ...!

.... .... ....!
