A little confused tho ref. contest, payware vs free screenshots.
The ac is a payware A2A, the scenery is freeware, and my main subject here is the engine blow!

Sorry if i blew it!

The A2A model with Accusim is notoriously temperamental.....that's what makes it so much fun O0

Man, that first shot - take out the wonky tarmac and that could be a photo!

Speaking of A2A, I have been looking at both the A2A (I have both Mustangs) and RealAir (I love the Lancair Legacy and Dukes), both of which offer Spitfires.

A2A = realism, for sure. Does anybody have an opinion about the RealAir version?

Hi Bass,

REX used to have some freeware runway and tarmac textures along with road and grass textures, I'll see if I can find a link or you could Google! 8)

I've been on google several times, but nothing came up yet.

I did find the spice pak (aracdsp101607) here on SimV, but no..

Thanks for your time.

I was hoping I archived those files because they are the main reason I bought REX, but alas no joy! I'll keep looking between flights! O0

I found the REX grass and road texture files, these are global files I believe, and will not interfere with other regional files!

For HD you would have to alter your fsx.CFG file to TEXTURE_MAX_LOAD=1024 to 4096 under [GRAPHICS].

If you would like me to email the zip files LMK via PM.

Thank you skunk, but i got the REX grass and road.

I also got the texture max load program.

I did find a web site that looks interesting, but i had some difficulties to join in!

I'm a little cautious by showing links in here. Dont know if SimV likes it or not!

I'll pm you a link when/if i get in.

Thanks again ;)
