Iv'e been flying my Raptor for some time now, and can report that mine works fine. You must have some unknown issue somewhere, possibly a missing gauge file.

I suggest you check out the panel cfg file I believe that is where you will find lines that has to do with the radio.
Any way if the adf is not defined in the cfg file it will not work.
When I get home later on today I will send you a copy of what you need to look for fixing this should be easy.
Unless you are missing the gauge file which could also cause this problem.
There are a couple of third party software programs that can read the panel cfg file and let you know if you are missing any gauges for a panel.
I use FSPANEL STUDIO it is great for this and adding a gauge is so easy a cave man could do it :lol: <<r

Here is the lines I was talking to you about these lines are from the panel cfg file

ident=RADIO_STACK_PANEL

gauge01=Bendix_King_Radio!Bendix-King Radio Audio, 0, 0,250, 44
gauge02=Bendix_King_Radio!Bendix-King Radio Nav-Comm 1, 0, 45,250, 92
gauge04=Bendix_King_Radio!Bendix-King Radio ADF, 0,137,250, 65
gauge05=Bendix_King_Radio!Bendix-King Radio DME, 0,202,250, 65
gauge06=Bendix_King_Radio!Bendix-King Radio Xpndr, 0,267,250, 78
notice that in this case the gauge04 is the ADF gauge the numbers are where in the panel the gauge is at ignore them
Below are the lines that activate the radios
this is from the aircraft cfg file of the default KingAir

[Radios]
// Radio Type = available, standby frequency, has glide slope
Audio.1 = 1
Com.1 = 1, 0
Com.2 = 1, 0
Nav.1 = 1, 0, 1
Nav.2 = 1, 0, 0
Adf.1 = 1
Transponder.1 = 1
Marker.1 = 1
the number 1 means it is available if the Adf line is not here the gauge will not work.
The same holds true if the number is 0
as 1 is on and 0 is off
<<v
You need to check both

These problems might depend on which version of the F-22 you have. This patch might fix the missing HUD --> http://simviation.com/1/search?submit=1&keywords=STDhud.zip&categoryId=

My choice for the default, full Bendix-King Radio stack, (Beech Baron 58, etc), to make sure that everything that can work, will work, as desired!...>>>

[Radios]
// Radio Type = available, standby frequency, has glide slope
Audio.1 = 1
Com.1 = 1, 1
Com.2 = 1, 1
Nav.1 = 1, 1, 1
Nav.2 = 1, 1, 0
Adf.1 = 1
Transponder.1 = 1
Marker.1 = 1

I find it useful to have the "Standby" frequency made available (1) on the Nav radios, to enable the swap-over from "Standby" to "Active" using the toggle switch, (two different frequencies can then be selected)!

Paul....Radio Navigation is fun!... :mrgreen: ...!

This will work as long as you remember to set up the aircraft cfg file to use this panel otherwise it will not work
because of the appropriate gauges are not there.
