Acsess Denied in .CGF files

FSX including FSX Steam version.

Acsess Denied in .CGF files

How come everytime I go to change a CGF file like to add a texture... Windows gives me and Acess Denied Box in Note Pad?....

I think you mean CFG files. This is probably due to Windows security features. Try moving the file you wish to edit to your Desktop before modifying it. Then save changes before pasting it back to its original location.

I've had this happen to me several times. The way around it is to copy the text from the cfg file, start a new word pad file and paste the text to this new file, delete the original and, wah-lah, an editable cfg file.

Just a note.
Save the original .cfg if something goes wrong!
