I bought a Hughes/McDonnell Douglas MD500 (in FSE) that I plan to operate out of Whitehorse, B.C., Canada. The heli was located in Manchester, U.K......quite a trip for a little bitty helicopter
FSE has a very cool feature that allows you to disassemble and crate up small aircraft and then ship them in a larger one. I really wanted to try out this feature, so we disassembled the MD500 up and threw it in crates. The flight actually started in Warton, U.K. where the DHC-6 was based. I flew 'er on down to Manchester to pick up my crates before headin' North toward the Faroe Islands making pick ups and drop offs to cover the fuel costs.
Yellow placemarks show my stops along the way.

Shortly after leaving Manchester....

From the Faroe Islands it was off to Iceland where I flew along the coastline picking up work where I could without going too far out of the way. And then a big hop to Greenland where the airports are few and far between.

Leaving EKVG in the Faroe Islands. Switched over to the British Airways DHC-6.

Over Iceland.

Headed for my second and last stop in Greenland to fuel up before crossing the Labrador Sea

Now to jump the big puddle.....

Crossin' the Labrador Sea....had a strong headwind and nearly ran out of fuel. 2% of capacity when the wheels touched the ground at CCE4 in Newfoundland, Canada

Switched to a Beech D18 in Newfoundland.....a slower, but more practical aircraft (cheaper to rent and fuel) and worked my way up the Newfoundland coast to Ungava Bay then on to the edge of Hudson Bay where I stopped for the day . I just have to cross the Hudson Bay and The Great White North and I'll be there....no problem....right?

Believe it or not, half way there and actually 8000 Vdollars in the black (I started my trip with a zero cash balance so I could keep track of my profits/losses without having to view the finance logs)....If I keep it up I'll actually make money for hauling my own helicopter

Thanks 4 looking
