Nimitz wake

My USS Nimitz always has a vertical wake at the stern, in any location.

I had this once before, but can hardly remember the solution. Looks like the effect file is damaged. A reinstall of the Nimitz could fix it. I assume you mean Javier Fernandez Nimitz. I don't know if this has its own effect wake file. Check in the sim.cfg, what file is called for the wake. If it's a default fsx file, a repair of fsx or replacing the respective *.fx file from a backup or fellow simmer could do the job.
