South Alaska

Postby CHUCK79 » Mon Apr 01, 2013 1:39 pm

Just got South Alaska (FTX's newest NA release) and it is very impressive. Had some time for a couple quick flights, here's some shots O0

The first two are near Valdez and the last three are near Juneau

Shots look good Chuck.

I am wondering, do all these add-ons work well with ORBX?

ORBX is or has done a Global Texture to replace the FSX Textures I believe, wonder if they will do a Global Scenery replacement rather than just certain areas like they have now.

There seems to be a lot of Payware Scenery Add-Ons on the market now making some difficult choices.

This is OrbX, Doug :D

I confused you when I said FTX I think
FTX is the maker of OrbX scenery:
http://www.fullterrain.com/

It perfectly borders Pacific Fjords and Tongass Fjords (which isn't OrbX but is completely compatible) and with a little tweaking it is completely compatible with Ultimate AK O0
Here's the product description page:

Awesome set, I'm going to have to pick up this area eventually but I'm really looking forward to their NorCal region.
