hard to believe it's fs2004....maybe it's my illusion but from what i remember, i always thought that a sunny day in fs9 was much more pleasant and brighter than one in fsx........

No...its not just an illusion, Yan... ;) ....

.....every day, is a bright, sunny day, when when we enjoy the many delights of flying with FS 2004.... :D ...!

It is a fact that my FS 2004 scenery always seems to be; "brighter", than it is in my copy of FSX, which often seems a little bit dark and depressing!

...(mind you, the fact that I have suitably adjusted the; "colour, etc", settings for my LCD Monitor*, also helps, somewhat!)... ...!

Many thanks, Chums!

Paul...I like bright, sunny days!... ...!

*...and a few little tweaks in the RGB, etc, settings, in "Ground Environment Pro" also spices things up as well!

Major Yankovitch,

I have been reading a thread over on AVSIM about an addon called SweetFX. It seems to be able to highlight contrasts and brighten things up a bit - the before and after screenshots are pretty impressive. However, there are a couple of people that either have not seen/realized the difference, or don't like the 10-20 percent hit to frame rates (Kostas). Do a Google search for SweetFX and check it out. It was created for online PC games, but works with any 32-bit game application. If you are a member of AVSIM, the thread is at http://forum.avsim.net/topic/389455-hav ... s-sweetfx/.

Great scenery Paul ;)

(I'm trying to hunt down the poor AA in fs9. When i start the sim, it just looks perfect, but when changing ac aso, it gets poor again!?)

Good Shot!!!

You could also light up FSX using a custom light-map and ENB... That is how I get my shadows to stand out in the few pictures I present to this site.

Fozzer, if I ever get my controls setup and working correctly... we will have to meet for some online flying.

No doubt about that BE... ;) ...!

..we did it a lot in the distant past, in FS 2002/FS 2004, I well remember!>>>>> Image

A Cal Tour for both of us would be very welcome indeed.
I've spent that past 15+ years, (since Flight Unlimited II/Pro Pilot 2), every day, touring Cal, north, south, east, and west...including your Frisco Bay/Sacramento River areas, so a Multiplayer (FS 2004) Chat would be wonderful, to fill in any gaps in my experience!

Paul.... ...!

Tip: For extra (wonderful) realism, I use; "Ultimate Terrain USA and Canada" for F2004... :D ...!
