Goodly morning Paul

I was going to make note about today being the first day of Spring but you beat me to it...

We were greeted with a snow shower first thing this morning, now the sun is shining.

Looks like we have had the last snow fall and once the ice is gone off the bay and river the boaters and seaplanes/floatplanes will be back... <<q

I still have to admit Paul that flying off ski's in the winter months is awesome. A whole new area is open to those who have ski's but not floats or a seaplane during the Summer or Fall Seasons.
Did very little aviating this winter ourselves as we let our medicals expire and now aviate about with family or friends.

This electronic gizmo, FSX and Simviation have become very good friends this winter and I am looking forward to getting myself some sort of motion simulator. Either motion chair or seat, just waiting for one of our son's and grandson to finish theirs.

Have not seen our first Robin yet but there are a lot more birds about today than there were last week. A good sign Spring is here.... <<q
Cheers...Happy Landings...Doug

...I take from the colour of the wallpaper in the first Pic, it was shot in the Living Room?.... :o ... ;) ...!

The last time I saw snow that/similar deep was during the War, and in 1947 and 1962.... ...!

We/I complain about snow and cold nowadays, but I can remember it was much worse, and much colder in my past; but being younger then, was less affected by it!

(I'm enjoying my "new" Central Heating now!).. ...!..

In "our" age we remember to forget the good or bad things!!

As i remember, as a kid, we got lots of snow skiing on late at night (it might just be one evening/night). That is a nice remembering! There were girls too
But we didn't get more snow then than today, but the memories, oh man, they'll stay.................

I know you know what i'm talking about :D

Just want to say this:

Blow, blow, thou winter wind
Thou art not so unkind
As man's ingratitude;
Thy tooth is not so keen,
Because thou art not seen,
Although thy breath be rude.

Heigh-ho! sing, heigh-ho! unto the green holly:
Most freindship if feigning, most loving mere folly:
Then heigh-ho, the holly!
This life is most jolly.

Freeze, freeze thou bitter sky,
That does not bite so nigh
As benefits forgot:
Though thou the waters warp,
Thy sting is not so sharp
As a friend remembered not.
Heigh-ho! sing, heigh-ho! unto the green holly:
Most friendship is feigning, most loving mere folly:
Then heigh-ho, the holly!
This life is most jolly.

The first day of Spring was nice here in the Mile High City... 56 degrees F and cloudy. Today it got to 60 with a sprinkle.
Of course, we'll have snow tomorrow and Saturday; par for the course!

It had better hurry up!... ...!

Paul... ...!

P.S...I used to be able to see the Black Mountains (for snow), before they built bloody houses all around me!... ...!

my office window looks over the Malvern's (literally car park then the hills so clear view) and I can't actually see them at the moment so there may or may not be snow on top .... but I'm guessing there is :P

Spring is when the Canadians leave Florida. We still have a couple more weeks.

You know, this used to be a helluva good country. I don't understand what's gone wrong with it. - George Hanson, 1969

..this is the time of the year when that bloody grass worries me... ...!

Its growing longer every day, ('cos its Spring), and its always too bleedin' wet to cut with my trusty Petrol Lawn Mower, (clogs it all up!).

...and all my trees and bushes need coppicing, and its too wet to go trudging around the garden...(foot mess on my carpets!).

Paul...so many problems... :? ...!
