No color on aircraft models.

On some of the down loads I will get the aircraft but its blank (no color) I follow the read me files to the letter. On other down loads the aircraft will be invisable, but you can see the gauges, wheels , ect. I just don't know what I am doing wrong can some on please help me. I have even used addit Pro for Flight X, and still no joy. You may also reply to this post to my email denniseconway@verizon.net I really need some help please.

Are you running FSX in DirectX-10 (DX10) preview mode? If so, just uncheck the DirectX-10 box to see your aircraft in all their splendid colour. Since we are on this subject, can anyone explain why the aircraft conversions from FS2004 to FSX can't be made compatible with DX10? Is it a lot of work to do?
