DRIVERS CLEANING

Is it a good idea to clean your drivers and if so which ones and who makes a good one?

I'm always very cautious about "upgrading" my Video drivers....

..sometimes it results in all sorts of video problems, and I have to revert back to "older" drivers, to cure the problems...

..often returning the original drivers on the CD supplied with the video card!

Always keep a copy(s) of your old(er) video drivers...just in case you need to go back!... ;) ...!

If you do decide to change video drivers, don't forget to un-install your old drivers first...(using Driver Cleaner, and instructions), running in Safe Mode!

Paul...driving me up the wall!... ;D ...!

....about MB drivers. If things are running fine, dont touch it!

If not, you can try to search the MB manufactors website (mostly chips) for an update on that particular MB. If they got an update inside windows, that should be ok.
An update inside bios, i would be very carefull with! If you don't know excatly what you're doing, you can easily "lock out" your pc for good!!
