Sorry to keep updating this topic, but I am just so pleased with the progress we are making.
In addition to continuing to improve the cockpit and external textures, gauge improvements etc, the next major release will have a really neat feature.
A Configurator.
It will set the aircraft to be optimized for SP2 or Acceleration.
This will allow you to fly the F-111 specific to each model, E, F, G, FB, YFB, or TFX(A)
You select the F-111 aircraft you want to fly, the type of engines available to that model, and a few other options like a Hot or Dark cockpit. It will automatically set the payload, ballast weight and fuel load for with drop tanks, bombs, or clean and then switch you to the selected F-111 aircraft if you are in different F-111.
If you are in a flight plan and want to change to a different F-111, you will change to that aircraft and resume your flight plan.
If you start an F-111 from the FSX aircraft menu that is not the same as the configuration, you will get a warning message telling you of the mis-match. You then can select the correct aircraft, reconfig for your current aircraft, or just go ahead and fly. Of course if you just want to fly and not worry about Model Specific performance, there is a generic default setting.
This program runs external to FSX
