We doubt you are a pilot..........because.

How many times can one person get into each post that he is a pilot....if you get on the PA and tell the pax as often as you tell us, someone who is trying to watch a movie that freezes every time you come online is going to get so p#sses off, that they will kick the cockpit door in and strangle you. For a highly educated and trained airline captain, your spelling and grammar is dreadful and month off because your niece is getting married, man I want to work for your company. After the grueling schedules I would have thought that you would take to the sky with a nice sporty GA aircraft (after all you are not married, don't drink or party) and not hang about in a virtual airline with a bunch of 13 year olds who think that they can do a CATIII B approach in an ATR 42-300 into Las Vegas in the summer. If you want to try and impress, than try this site out http://totalsim.6.forumer.com/index.php if not, calm down and enjoy SimV as a place to relax and pick up some fine addons.

PS, I don't think I have mentioned in some time that I have maintenance licenses for Boeing 737NG and A320

PPS Just in case you all missed it.........I have maintenance licenses for Boeing 737NG and A320

PPPS See above.

PPPPS, did I mention ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

MATT ....... OOOOOOO MATT!!

You forgot to mention that you maintain 737NGs and A320s ....... how remiss of you.  ;D ;D ;D ;D

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.

Haha, CATIII Approach, Do you expect 13 or 14 year olds to know that? And Maybe I haven't gone to grammar school when I was a kid, Cause My Parents Were poor, I barely had money, But I kept going to school, Where I lived, In Africa They never had Grammar school. So I wasn't taught, But I did read a lot of airplane books because  was really interested In them. My Dad Eventually Died  :'( and My grandfather who lives  in CANADA takes my and my 3 brothers and 5 sisters to Canada to live with him. I took Aviation School In Ethiopia Though then came back to Canada. And I will Tryout the site! :)

before i head off on my first solo x country! wooo, stopped by to checkout this thread and clear my mind a little bit, and it turns out i can recall when I was about 12 or 13 reading about redundant autopilots on the 767, how pilots would arm the C (center, right?) and for a catIII the R and L ones. and I knew a catiii was a min vis app and landing as well.

now isnt it interesting what we aviation sickos were reading at that age lol. my buddies were collecting batman, spiderman, i was collecting tripple 7, the queen of the skies. hahaha.
