Looking for a VA..

Postby Jimbo » Sat Jul 22, 2006 6:01 pm

Hello all.

I'm slowly - extremely slowly loosing interest in flying in FS on my own, i feel as if i need to complete an objective, so i think if i join a VA i will enjoy my flying alot more. But the thing is, i dont know how a VA airline works, i'm used to just loading up a flight and flying it.. So im lookng for a VA to fly with, i'm quite new to all this, so i'm particularily looking for a VA which allows people new to VA flying to join.

So if anyone can reccomend me any, that would be great.

Cheers,

James

Thanks for the info.

Is there any other VA that anyone would recomend me to use? I'm currently looking at the various VA available at the moment.

Cheers,

James

Come and join JetDirect. We run many different routes which offers flexibility for pilots and enjoyment. Visit our website @ www.jetdirectva.com/jetdirectvacom.html. Dont ask why the address is like that. Some domain issue. Also, we use something called Flynet to organise our airline. Visit It here @ http://flynet.en-studios.de/forum/viewforum.php?f=32

Thanks for looking

Try www.air-source.us.com
This is a very laid back VA it does not limit you to what plane you can fly even at the start and you do not have to stay in any certain area you can fly around the world one filght at a time here you do not need to down load any aircraft and only need to make 1 flight every 30 days or file for a vacation if you find you will be away for a while. The only thing you need here is a internet connection and you will have to download a program called Active Air Source I love this littlle program it keeps track of every aspect of your flight( times fuel and even the weather in route) the other thing that just about every VA does not like you to do is to use the slew key or change the simulation rate this is forbidden.
I have flown for several other VA'S and this one is really different.

Jimbo, I have just launched Vorona Aviation, based in Madagascar - www.voronaaviation.com. We are happy to look after beginners and will answer all your questions and help you through the early days of flying for a VA! We have a very streamlined and intuitive flight report system too which will help you get flying in no time and not get bogged down in form filling.

Kind regards,
Tim.

ok time for the big guns. You want a purpose? Try getting into British Virtual Airways. First, there is a test to get in, so you gotta know your stuff in aviation. Once you get in you can request flights. They will set it up just as if you were a real pilot flying in the real world. They send you however many flights you think you can do evry week, and you gotta fly them in the order they give them to you. When I was part of it I mainly did A320 flights around the medditeranian. Was alot of fun, however they do restrict the type of planes you can fly by rank but its a good bunch of people and the programs they use make fileing a PRIEP very easy  ;D There are a few airlines of BAW out there but this is the real one: http://www.bavirtual.co.uk/ its even endorsed by the actual British airways.  ;D ;D
