05/01/2006. Intercontinental and European routes took off from Westernair's Manchester hub on Thursday. These new routes also see the arrival of three 757 aircraft and one A330 to the Westernair fleet. Passenger volumes have exceeded forecasts on the new routes and passengers are said to be very satisfied by the new aircraft and the high standard of onboard service. Now the new hub at Manchester is fully operational Westernair plans to expand its operations from this hub over the course of 2006.
