FlyFS Carrier Dogfight - 3/21/09 - 1pm EDT/5pm GMT

As promised, here is the info on our military operation this Saturday, the 21st.  

The US team will launch from AC02 in the Persian Gulf (requires the Carriers package - link below) to attack an Iranian airfield on shore.  The strike force will be comprised of V-22s and RH-53s.  Escorting F/A-18Fs will be available for anti-air and -ground support.  An E-2 will be on station (using FSNav) to direct the action.

The Iranian team will launch from OIAJ and attempt to intercept the US forces using F-5 air defense fighters.  Radar support will be provided by either AWACs or GCI.  

To keep it a fair fight, both fighters have been modified to fly the same.

You can choose to fly whichever aircraft you like.  We will even up the teams based on who shows up.

To install the carriers, run the .exe file and follow the instructions in the .txt file that pops up.  To install the aircraft, extract them from the .zip and paste the folders into your aircraft directory.
