Gamespy Multiplayer Problem

Sometimes when I try to log on to Gamespy, I get an error saying "You have been disconnected from Gamespy. You may have logged on to another computer."

I didn't log on to another computer, and sometimes I get this message 20 times in a row before Gamespy finally lets me on. Annoying.

Is there a fix for this?

Nope. All you have to to is sit back and take it.  >:( I really hate microsoft for not making a patch after almost 3 years of torture...

It seems that the logging in problem is if your set in the free flight lobby, before logging out set your self in a different lobby ( I use fly ins ), and most of the time I have no problem logging in, or I usally get in on the 3rd try, but if your stuck in free flight, than like you said it takes mucho trys untill it lets you in.

I'll try that, but unfortunately, another problem I have is that whenever I exit the particular session I'm in, I get logged off involuntarily. So I might have a hard time doing that...

I feel your pain, same happened to me when I first started figuring out multiplayer. What I did was go into my FXS.cfg and changed the lobbyname from there.

DefaultLobby=Freeflight-------------------- (I changed mine to Fly_Ins.)

I think SP2 fixed this, it happened to me before i got SP2, then once i installed it, hasnt happened yet
