Sounds like a blast, but there are some handicaps as mentioned before...everyone would just figure out what plane is fastest and fuel efficient and fly it open throttle...maybe if you designate a bird it would level off the competition a bit, such as a high speed prop (example, Hughes 500, who has the perfect prop pitch/mixture to run the bird at max efficiency?)

Just my two cents, I'll check back and if it looks like a fair fight I'm in!!
Alienware X51_R2 (thank you wife) Windows 8.1, 6GB Ram, Intel Core i3-4150 CPU @3.50GHz
FSX Acceleration settings on max, no twitches or glitches.

That can be done in MSFS?! :o I was not aware of that! Sure, if you tell me how to do it! ;D

As an update: it will probably be best to post what aircraft you're gonna use, and use something freeware, that way there are none of the conflicts while in multi. I would hate to watch a mach3 Cessna kicking my butt all the way across the country. ;D

Depending on when it was held and the time etc i'd certainly be up for this.

How about using the actual firefox though?

The one I listed is the Clint Eastwood movie one, for some reason it's listed as the Mig-31 so I included that part of the title just in case. ;) I would be disappointed if that didn't show up! ;D

It's looking like this Saturday around 18:00-19:00 GMT+0 for a start time, that should be early enough for the UK folks and prime time for the US folks and shouldn't conflict with anyone planning to participate in a1's Swiss tour. I'll give this post a couple of days to gather opinions on the start time and then post an official thread for it on Wed. this week.

The real Mig-31 is called the foxhound and is a close twin to the Mig-25 Foxbat for those that wondered. ;)

Cool. AAR can be done in MSFS, but you need a third party app for it. The only one I can think of is Abacus' Arrestor Cables. So it's probably an unfair advantage.
