I'll tell you what John, that hour and a half it took for us to take off, find each other again after my throttle dysfunction, and land, went by so fast, that I didnt even see my wife bring in my dinner haha!!

Another nice KLAX - KSFO flight with Big Truck tonight.

Came in hot and high and had to go around for me.  Then the 17 knot gusty Active Sky crosswind had me well left of center and floating long on the flare.  But I got it down without the crash effect coming on.  Probably just barely.

I just changed all of my main flight controls (yoke, throttles, rudderrs) over to being handled by FSUIPC... what a difference THAT makes for the basic Windows "joystick" porcessing.  But the controls are a little different sensitivity now... so have to learn the aircraft's quirks again.

Thanks for the flight again BT.

best,

..................john

Bummer Mr. Baymore, but I understand completely as I watch my wife persue her doctorate and see all the work she has to turn in to her professors.

Big Truck,

Yeah... us professors are an evil lot.

After two straight weeks of work I finally get my 3 day weekend recovery, hopefully I'll see some of you online, haven't been on the server recently but I will start checking it tomorrow afternoon when I get home.

Obviously I will have to spend some time with the wife as well since she spends a lot of her time waiting for me to get home each night, but I know she will let me get on the sim for a few hours each night as well.

I'll keep an eye on the server this weekend, hope to get a flight or two in!
