..let me think now....

'Frisco time  is BST - 7 hours...

...so...

I reckon...BST = 'Frisco time + 7 hours.... ;).... ;D....!

8 PM BST (GMT) Supper time in the evening in England = 1PM Dinner time in Frisco...(count backwards).... [smiley=thumbsup.gif]...!

Make sure you've had your Mid-Day Dinner before you wheel your trusty Steed out of the Hangar.. :)...!

Keep this handy around the take-off time...;)...>>>

No wonder you chaps get confused. It would be much easier to work in GMT/UTC. http://www.worldtimeserver.com/current_time_in_UTC.aspx

The biggest problem for us (over here), is when the Chaps (over there), organise their Flights for 8 PM (their time)....

We have to count forward 5, 6, or 7 hours, which places us (over here) tucked up safely in our beds, cuddling our Teddy Bears... :)...!

F.

P.S. Note my great affection for using AM and PM rather than that confusing 24 hour clock malarkey... 8-)...!

That's what I mean. It would be much easier for everyone if you ALL work in GMT/UTC. That's the way it's done in the real world. Imagine the confusion if airlines worked to local time. Click my link to see the current time in GMT/UTC ---> http://www.worldtimeserver.com/current_time_in_UTC.aspx

Silly old sod. That just confuses things even more. :P

'Trubble is, it rarely relates to our differing local times, (the time on our wall clocks), when ready for a Multiplayer Flight..... :o...!

...fer instance....my clock in my wall tells me its 10:42 AM...but the GMT/UTC Clocks says its 9:42 AM...

...silly old GMT/UTC Clock!...  ;D...!

The same problem exists for them, (over there), during their Daylight Saving Hours... :(...!

F.

...24 hour clocks...
You would not believe the number of times I have watched my train at Paddington Station disappearing into the distance while I am trying to convert the 24 Clock time into the proper time on my Wrist Watch: eg; AM And PM...even whilst I was in the Army... :'(...!

I always check the flight sim server, but it doesn't help me if I don't know what time to check

Should be no problem if you ALL work in GMT as I suggested. This clever little gizmo was created specifically for this sort of thing. http://www.worldtimeserver.com/convert_time_in_UTC.aspx

(UTC/GMT) Time Converter

If you have a web cast, online chat, teleconference call or other event where users from all over the world would want to attend at the same time, this (UTC/GMT) time zone converter offers you and your audience an easy way to quickly calculate the correct time that an event will take place in (UTC/GMT) compared to any other International location.
