...but I play so badly on Multiplayer. I know how the instruments work and "stuff", I just don't know how to communicate with ATC and other aircraft (players)
In Multiplayer, you cannot communicate with Air Traffic Control (as you do in Solo, non-Multiplayer flights), and communication with other Multiplayer Pilots must be done either via the "Chat Window", or the use of "Teamspeak" using a microphone and headset.
Open your Browser with this...>>>>
http://cockpit.netfrag.org:8090/...and it will indicate who, if anyone, is on line using the Sim V Server.
Once you are connected to Multiplayer, press "Enter" to open the Chat window, note who is on line, and say "Hello!"....
