Apologies for the long, single hop but, as you can see, there is a lack of airports in this region! This situation should improve as we get higher up.  ;) Hope to see you there!  :)

Ummm.....I prefer BST at the moment, as it's British time (datlight savings)....GMT would confuse it even further.....

I believe America also goes onto daylight savings so the time differences remain the same ;)

I understand, but not all of us are in BST. if you dont want GMT, how about zulu. this way it's always 12:00zulu wether your in canada or in germany...

My point is that most countries enter daylight saving time at the same point in the year and therefore the time differences stay the same throughout the whole year. Therefore if we kept the tour time at "British Time" then the offset would always be the same....-5 for Eastern USA, -7 for West coat etc ;)

Don't over complicate it...

As Mic says, most of the regular Tourers have got used to the system at it is, now...;)...!

I just take my local GMT time and deduct or add so many hours to obtain the equivalent time in different parts of the World....
U.S. East/West Coast/Central, Europe, Australia, .....Outer Mongolia, etc...

It seems to work OK for most of us... :-*...!

..P.S.....Sorry about missing the flight last night (for the first time... :'(...).

Had to go to a Christening of one of my zillions of Great-Grandchildren at 10:00 PM on Sunday morning in the Forest of Dean.

I trundled off on my Trusty Steed early in the morning, fully intending to be back again for the 7:30 PM Flight in the evening.

...but...

Everyone fed and watered me throughout the rest of the day with copious amounts of Ham Sandwiches and gallons of Special Brew,, and then FORCED me to stay overnight... :o...!

I logged on to the the Sim V on  the "local" Lap Top in the evening, but not having the Flight Sim Program with me, couldn't join in.... :'(...!

Just arrived back home now, (fully sober...;)...)...at 9:00 AM this Monday morning to post this...

Sorry again, Chums. I HATE missing the flights!... :'(...!

Ready for next week... ;)...!

Paul...G-BPLF... 8-)...!

P.P.S. ....The Christening was part of the Usual Sunday Service, which lasted for one and a quarter hours...

...it was actually the longest six? hours I've ever spent/endured/suffered in my whole life... >:(...!

...(I don't normally do "God"...you understand!.... ;)...)...!

.... ;D...!
