problem with vista + mp

i didnt have this problem when i was using XP, but now im on vista its annoying.

when im flying MP and i go to open the chat window, my screen goes black then it appears and my AA seems to turn off and everything goes jaggy. (but i think this is due to the drivers (the jaggies that is))  

does anyone know anyway to stop the screen going black for 5 secs before the chat box appears?

 I'm running Vista and I can't even get on MP.  Works fine with FSX though.

never mind, vista peeved me off when during a 3 hours flight of VOR to VOR point its decided to crash FS9 so i have spent 2 hours today getting XP on and FS9 installed

On mine, the screen goes black for a second and then the chatbox disappears but is still there! I have to find it and then drag it to make it appear again. (I'm also on Vista)  ;D

It crashed because it was busy putting on it's makeup and deciding what purse can go with it's highheels. Also vista is a male. Get what I'm saying?
