Accidents... :-[....!

LOL.... ;D...!
When it comes to Accents, I know I 'extract the urine' from Texan accents (in a fun sort of way... :-*...!), it's actually the thought dread of having to listen to one of my British Multiplayer Chums on "Teamspeak" bending my ear-'oles with a Liverpool/Lancashire/Scouse accent, or a Gloucestershire/Devon/Cornish accent, or a few other "peculiar" accents which escape me at present... ;D...!

Reading Text in the Chat Window is a universal language/accent which everyone (especially me) can understand...and enjoy...(and tolerate!).... :)...!

It's a funny old do, but Americans always seem to speak with the same/similar accent, whichever State they come from, but in England the locals seem to have a completely different language all of there own depending upon which County they come from...most of it completely unintelligible...to me!... :o...!

So...."Teamspeak?".....NAH!...I don't fink so!....LOL... ;D...!

F.... ;).... 8-)...!

Whey-up, Lad,...Och aye the noo....Ow's yoo me Luvvy....Chooffin' 'eck, Lad... :o.... ;D....!

Paul, I really like all the different accents there are in 'British' English. The same here in Holland. Some of them speak Dutch but you really need a translator to understand them.........

... ;D...!

...my big worry is being advised by an Air Traffic Controller speaking in a Liverpool accent when I am in great danger, in zero visibility, with all my circuit breakers tripped, undercarriage locked up, the cockpit in complete darkness, 1/2 a mile from touch down...and all my passengers terrified!... :o...!

....repeat...repeat... :o...!

F.... ;D...!

I am a great advocate of 'Received Pronunciation' when it comes to conveying important advice... :)...!

I wonder if if Traffic Controllers are selected/trained for their ability to communicate intelligibly and clearly to the majority of Pilots...?
