A short flight this time, so the Baron will remain in the Hangar for a change.

I thought about using the default Piper Cub for the flight, but those wings are much to wide apart, and those main wheels are much too close together, often resulting a damaged wing when the plane tips on to its side when maneuvering on the ground if great care is not taken, (Ground Loop!).... :-[...!

Tip: Once landed in the tail-dragger Piper Cub, ALWAYS come to a complete standstill BEFORE changing direction (Taxiing).. 8-)...!

I've lost count of the number of times I have watched my Multiplayer Chums ground-looping their Piper Cubs...always good for a laugh, and wondering what next years Insurance Premium will be!...Tee-Hee!... ;D...!

So...for the flight I think I will wheel out my default, red and black, Cessna 172. It should do the job quite nicely. (It's a shame Uncle Bill didn't include a DEFAULT Cessna 150/152 for this type of short flight!).

Flight Plan filed, gassed-up, oiled-up, bugs removed, tyres inflated, beer cans installed, and ready to roll... :)...!

F...G-BPLF... 8-)...!

Very good. It was the first time I navigated the whole flight using just a map a watch and FSNav. ;D ;D

Great flight.

FS started to screw up right after take off. Don't know what is wrong with it but it keeps giving me a headache. I think it is time for some re-installing of my entire pc.

Hello Crash... :)...

I sometimes find that if I have been browsing, fiddling around, etc, on the Computer for hours on end, and then fire up the Flight Sim (or a Game), I often get strange, random crashes, corruptions, etc, so what I do now is to shut down the Computer completely and clear out the Memory and Hard Drive for a few minutes to settle it down, then start up the Flight Sim from scratch just before the Flight.
It appears to run more reliably, without problems then.

F.... ;)...!

Hello Crash... ;)...!

It's a funny old do...

But sometimes I forget...

Whenever you install a new Game, the recommendation is to ALWAYS re-set the computer BEFORE playing it....

..so.... (if I remember).... I try to do the same thing before firing up the Flight Sim, for the same reasons.... :)...!

...it deletes the contents of my Memory...for a while... ;D...!

LOL... ;D...!

F....Vacant....as usual... 8-)...!
