Tee-He... ;D...!

Nah...a perfect, bounce-free, main wheel landing in my trusty Baron, every time (almost)... ;)..!

I don't know if Uncle Bill's design crew is being especially nice to us in the design of the default Beech Baron 58 .air File, but after a number of years perfecting my flying in the Cessna 150/152/172 Trainers, and successfully completing a type test in the complex Beech Baron Twin, I now find the Baron 58 to be a very predictable general purpose aircraft, and more stable and less "feisty" than it's smaller, single prop Sisters!

It may be due to it's twin props pulling equally on either side of the fuselage?.
This makes it slow to change direction, but once aimed in the required direction will maintaining its course faultlessly!
The only thing to be constantly aware of, are its constant-speed props and its retractable undercarriage!!

As a Piston Engined Twin, it also benefits from instant reaction to changes in power application, it's Turbine Engined Twin equivalents (King Air etc) being very much slower to react!
(I still have problems with P&W PT6 Turbine engines because of that reason!).

So...after mastering the single prop Trainers, a type-test move up to the more complex Piston Twins is a well-worth experience!
