to do with multiplayer i guess...
i feel like doing a long distance flight.... maybe from somewhere like tokyo to Los Angeles or Chicago or somewhere
but, i want to be able to have 2 pilots in the plane... that can both fly it... and i cant remember how you do this. do the pilots get given a side of the aircraft each?
cheers
Are you doing it in FSX or FS2004? For FS2004, I know there are some add-ons to allow two pilots in one plane.
For FSX, you are supposed to be able to select position (pilot, copilot, etc) to fly for each person sharing an aircraft. My dad and I messed around with it, and it kept putting us both into the pilot's seat. So, to get around that, one of us just manually shifts the view to the co-pilot position and there you go, pilot and co-pilot. Of course, that is dependent upon using the v/c. I think if you switch back to the 2D cockpit you are going to find yourself right back in the pilot's view for the 2D cockpit even if you were in the co-pilot's seat in the v/c.
If I find a way to fix that auto-seating setup, I will let you know.
I do know that I have used the movement functions (SHIFT/CTRL + backspace in varying combinations) to move myself around the aircraft in FS2004 (including into the copilot seat and into passenger seats). But, I do not have any add-ons yet that allow me to have a co-pilot. I know they are out there, but I just haven't used them yet.
Best of luck,
