Jimbo's Flight Simulation Tours: ALASKA

Postby Jimbo » Fri May 18, 2007 10:00 am

Hello Folks.

Long time no see, especially for a lot of you. Currently right in the middle of my A Level Exams, so time is short and spared.

Although this is, i want to "Carry on" my tours, i was considering letting the tours "Fade out" as we have many eager flight simulation enthusiasts possibly wanting to start their own. But i thought to myself, why let something perfectly good, which has been running now for 2 years, "Fade away". I've decided to , carry on with the tours, and at the same time [after the exams are over] make suitable changes to the tours, improve them, and try and get them back on track. In essense, i'm trying to get the "Old" SIMALIVE & Jimbo's tours, REBORN, and bring back that Sunday night, and maybe tuesday & wednesday night atmosphere. In around a months time you will see the changes, and i will be *trying* to back my tours as much as i can.

If my tours do kick off again, the exisiting sunday slot will STILL be running, but a mid-week tour will be available. I will be looking for a "partner" as such to help with the MIDWEEK tour. This is my way of letting the simviation community get involved.

So, "Jimbo's Tours" hasn't faded, Died down or even vanished, I'm in the early stages of something new. Which leads me to our next topic.

ALASKA TOUR

I wish to welcome to you the brand new tour which will be starting [next sunday] , the 27th of MAY 2006.

I hope to bring you, the simviation community, a tour which will not bring an "Awe" defining effect with Alaska, but will educate yourselfs about this beautiful peice of land on our very own planet, looks like, and if possible, FEELS LIKE.

So, Til the first hop which will be uploaded WEDNESDAY the 23rd of MAY, there will be NO flight simulation tours until then, this time period will allow me time to revise a flight plan, and choose destinations.

So from me to YOU, THANK YOU for your loyal support so far, the past 2 years have gone quick, no doubt, but until then, Jimbo's tours, has NOT gone.

James - Jimbo's Tours

ALASKA!!!!  Get ready to download some serious scenery.   ;)  I think this tour should be sponsored by Holger Sandmann.  :)

A fine choice James, unfortunately I won't be able to make it for at least the first two weeks of the tour, but as I've said before, if you want any help, just PM me - although I'm sure crash will have plenty of helpful advice & places to go aswell.

Looking forward to it (when I finally make it there),

Cheers,

TSC.
