Looking good, Chaps...

I'll be there in my Default Beech Baron 58 as usual.... :)...!

...certainly not a high speed jet, commercial jet, or single engined War Bird....!

..and certainly not a multi-engined War Bird!...!

..and I will definitely NOT get involved in fancy (dangerous) aerobatics, before, during, or after the flight....:o...!

....nudge...nudge.... ::)...!

Trust me...... :)...!

...just the usual, default, General Aviation, touring aircraft, like we used to fly in the "Good Old Sim V Touring Days"...long ago!....;)...!

Paul...G-BPLF...Uncle Bill's Default Beech Baron 58.... 8-)...!

Note: When it appears that certain members do not appear to be using their selected "Default Aircraft", it is because another (annoying?) member in the group is using a NON-STANDARD and/or NON-DEFAULT aircraft which does not appear in all the other members Hangars...;)...!

....why do I have to keep repeating this?... :-/....;)...!

I tried to connect but failed again about 20 times. No router but Thompson DSL modem. So have fun on your flights, chaps. I'll try again somewhere in the future. For now I'm off to that other serious server.

Your not the only one that couldn't connect crash - I tried a few times, even reset my router & completely redone all of the ports - all to no avail :'(

Ah well, maybe next time.

...strange...

We all made it to the end, including John (Baymore) no problems... :)...!

I can't figure out why Crash still has problems with his simple Thompson DSL Modem... :'(...!

(I have the same model....with no Router...;)...!

I noticed crash and TSC both showing up and disappearing on the FSHost notices a bunch of times as we were enroute.  I figured that someone already logged on did not have their ports open correctly.   I was there when the only one online for the tour in addition to me was bonair.  Got on early for a change.  Most everyone else joined after the two of us.

OH... but there were also two folks flying somewhere else at a UK airport ....... I can't remember the names.

And Fozzer, it is not a probelm caused by the router for the router USER....... it is a problem for anyone connecting via ANY method if someone ALREADY connected has ports not opened.

best,

........................john

It beats me...

I just have a simple DSL Modem connected directly into my 'phone line, and I can't recall ever getting thrown out of any flight, whether I join first, or later in the flight....

I just dial the Server's Address, and use his recommended Port address.

Been doing this for years now, with no problems...same on WSP's Site..

..very peculiar... ::)...!

Paul.... ;)...!

Same here...... DSL modem connected directly to the lines.

I thought you had a DIAL UP modem not DSL?  SAY............  :o .......... that DSL modem almost for sure has ports that have to be opened TOO!  I had to do that on mine.

Check that out.......... it is just like a ROUTER in that respect.

best,
