.....Maybe somebody could arrange it so that nobody apart from tour hoppers be on the server at the time of the tours.  It would save hassle and also, if people don't abide by the rules of the tour, they get kicked......
Just a suggestion...that's all..

Mark

I have suggested this before, but as Mic has noted, Sam's Server is a Public Server, so anyone can do whatever they like, and "thingy*" it up for everyone else, if they so wish... :'(...!

The Server which I occasionally join is still a Public server, but it is protected against annoying little Folk making a nuisance of themselves during various prearranged hops/flights.....;)...!

It encourages/ensures observing common courtesy.

It would be nice if Sam could generate a few more additional addresses on his Server to separate different groups of fliers... ;)...!

Never mind...there's always tomorrow... :)...!

Paul....G-BPLF.... 8-)...!

* Alternative description...;)...!

Yeah you got a point Foz.  I have another idea for the tours.  People who wanna join, could agree to fly default a/c only and put their name on a list.  Then the organiser could PM those people telling them the IP address for the server.  It would be hassle, but if somebody could volunteer to help with the PM'ing, it would be easier.
IMO this could work, and it would get rid of the annoying people who cruise around at Mach 2 point one million whilst we are trying to fly at 150 knots peacefully to somewhere nice in Australia...

In which case, there is always the problem of the time difference.
We have similar problems with the U.S Multiplayer Flights...we are generally in bed at the time... ;)...!

Fine...be like that!
To correct my previous statement....
Do it like I said, to prevent those who decide to annoy everyone by doing the tour in an aircraft that isn't fixed wing and GA!  I.e. prop driven GA aircraft suitable for the tours.
For example
Beechcraft Baron 58 (default)
Beechcraft King Air 350 (default, again!)
Most of the Cessnas (Oh look, more default!)

THOSE AIRCRAFT ARE FUN TO FLY!!!!  If you don't fancy doing the hops in slower things, run your own fast-paced hops and stop annoying everyone else!  Please!

Rant over, just my 2 pence worth, no offence intended, or anything personal.  Apologies if you took it personally.

I'm calm, dont take it as grumpy  ;)
I am calm, some things tend to get on my wick a bit.  LOL
I was sarcastic when i said fine be like that lol, just fancied a rant, in accordance to what you said Fozzer, so no harm done eh?

Jimbo cheers for noting the problems...i know this would have been the first flight for me with the tour, but it still annoys me.  I have had this before with other tours trust me, and it has got on my nerves a bit.
Still, something good.  Christmas dinner later!!! (Currently 0016)
Cheers,

...LOL... ;D.... ;D.... ;D....!

Hi Jimbo...!

It wasn't so much of a problem in the "Olden Days"...FS'98/2000/2002....

Multiplayer was not easy to access then, so not many folks used the Multiplayer facility in the program, and those few that did were generally the elderly types, not accustomed to in-flight wars and custard pie throwing.... 8-)...!

Now that it is easier to get into, everyone and his dog are hell-bent on racing around the skies in Multiplayer, and tripping over each other in their enthusiasm.... :o...!

It's very much like the Radio/TV Broadcast Bands, they are getting more crowded each year....!

Cheers all...!

Paul....Custard pies are nice to eat... :P... ;)...!

After agreeing with most of the stuff that has been said (apart from default a/c......as long as your aircraft is the same kind of type as a default aircraft and you switch to it beforehand I dont see the problem in using add-ons (eg. me using a piper seneca because I prefer flying it to a baron and selecting the baron first so everyone sees me as a twin engined plane))

Paul....Custard pies are nice to eat... :P... ;)...!

But, after all that agreement you made a statement I cannot agree with Paul ;D
