FSX Multiplayer Improvements

Postby JBaymore » Mon May 29, 2006 2:21 pm

Finally some details about the really important stuff....... and it sounds promising.

The Microsoft FSX website has some factual stuff in addition to the various screen shots and videos we have been seeing around up til now.

Certainly is something to look forward to John, instead of dropping flour bombs we can fly online with a whole new world of options! 8)

Maybe we can do "Joint Ops" multiplayer flour bombing missions?

Oh god, can you imagine the mayhem that will cause?

1. Ozzy as our pilot *
2. Fozzer providing the in-flight entertainment **
3. Jared dying all hairs green and painting our faces white
4. Soui providing the straight jackets
5. Me trying to keep the needle straight while Ozzy goes inverted ***

* Oh crab! Seat belts everyone!
** I doubt Foz's church organ would fit in the cabin. ;D
*** A scarey thought isn't it? ;D

Guys, I think we are looking for so many things when there are 2 things I think we need on a basic level.

First of all, implementing an FSHost like system would be excellent.  It should allow us to host on our computer THROUGH the sim, and also allow us to search for a server like you can on FSHostSpy in the sim.

Secondly, implement a Teamspeak like utility IN the sim so we don't have to run ts in the background.

Those are 2 basic things, but adding in some other things like traffic radar like on FSNav would be nice as well
