SimV server hoplist question....

Postby gottoflynow » Wed Apr 26, 2006 3:55 pm

Hi all,

My question is... how will the hoplist be decided? I think it will be nice if there can be a thread and people can submit ideas, and a poll be created too decide which one to fly. I have a couple ideas that I thought of and I wish there were a way to submit them.

Just a thought...others appreciated :D

Hello.

Which SimV tours are you talking about? There is a Simalive Tour which i organise each week, and im organising a new tour. I have started a poll to see where people are interested in flying to.

Cheers,

"Hoplists" are included in each of Jimbo's "Tours".

You have to create a "Tour" first, to be able to generate a "Hoplist"... ;)...!

Paul:
I think he means the server based hoplist.
You can make a hoplist on the server that will
tell you where to fly next (optionally the hoplist creator
can include further informations.. like VOR Frequencies
for example) and gives you a message when you arrive.
You can use the ?hoplist and ?hop command in the chat
window to get further informations.

Hi Sam...!

Doesn't this Hoplist idea tie up the Site, and the single Port address, 23456, to the folks involved in the Hop...?

Note that WS Pilots have three port addresses, 23456, 23457, 23458, one or more will often contain a particular Server's Hop, which other flyer's should really avoid unless they are involved in it...?
The remaining port address(es) can then be used at any time for the occasion flyer, or group of flyer's without interfering with others...;D...!

What do you reckon...?
