Hello Lads...!
It's now confirmed that the date for the Airshow is Saturday 22nd of April.
All we need now is the "time" of the start of the Airshow......?
I've thumbed through the various threads but I cant find any mention of it...!
...and what "Time Zone" will it be...Greenwich Mean Time+1, Eastern Standard Time, Pacific Time, The Time in Hong Kong, the Time on my Cuckoo Clock, etc....?
LOL......!
Looking good so far......!
Paul...Auster Mk V.......!
Hi Tweek...!
I don't know how many folks are going to turn up, but from the number of them who have indicated an interest, I doubt very much that I have the Dial-Up time to download all their aircraft into my Hangar so that they ALL show up in their correct types......!
So...
May I make a suggestion for simplicity, for the next Airshow that we all agree to only use the selection of Uncle Bills various default aircraft......?
Now that would guarantee an excellent show for photographic purposes where every aeroplane will appear in its correct type, with no arguments, discussion, or confusion.......
..!
That way, anyone can pop in at the last minute with his/her choice of default aircraft with no problems...
With all our default aircraft mingled in amongst the various default Oshkosh objects, static aircraft, tents, hangars, visitors, etc, should make for some fantastic "realistic true-to-life" screen-shots......!
....just like a real Airshow...!!!
What do you reckon.......?
Cheers all...!
Paul...always brimming over with good ideas......!
P.S. ....Tweek...What is your location, etc?...(It's not in your Profile)...an FBI secret, maybe......?
Im planning on flying the dsb tornado, although i Havn't decided whether to fly the gr4 or f3, suppose Ill do that now
don't worry fozzer I've decided to take the f3 since its 1.2mb smaller than the gr4, maybe an idea for future airshows would be to get people with broadband to download all the aircraft then put them on cds and post them to dial up users, no long download times
I really can't be arsed to download, and install, other Folks strange aircraft that I know I'm not the slightest bit interested in, and never going to use again...
...a total waste of time and space on my hard drive......!
