right then. First off you need WSP's server IP address (which is 66.147.177.125 I think, I can't remember off the yop of my head :D)

Then you need to open the specific ports. WSP's server "Oceania 2" uses the defualt port 23456. The server "World Tour" uses 23457, and the server "Antarctica" uses port 23458.

I'll explain this is WAY more detail in a PM to you F3Hadlow, but right now I'm a bit tight for time, so I'll have to PM you tomorrow.

Hope this helps :)

This sounds great! Mind if I join in? I was thinking of adding a 'heavy' of some sorts (maybe the AN-225 fo shere size spectical?) for a low flypast, maybe in formation with two other planes?

Or, the other airshow classic that comes to mind is a (FSFrance) Concorde/Red Arrow formation. What do you think?

I think a 10 ship formation in multiplayer would be EXTREMELY hard to do. Sometimes I have trouble formating on people when they're lagging all over the place, and with 10 planes in view, I think you'd all need a very good PC, and a good connection. Though the AN225 with two other aircraft is a good idea.

Remember to sort these formations amongst yourselves. Me and cspyro only organise the event, and our own formation!

Good grief no! I didn't mean ALL the Red Arrows, just two maybe. As for formation flying itself, if i'm the heavy in the middle then thats fine! Note, the AN-225 is better on frames than the Concorde and is certainly easier to download for those without either plane. Maybe the organisers could let me know which they prefer.

Yeah, the AN-225 would work. When and if you confirm it with others, post in the other thread. Remember the deadline for stating what aircraft you will be flying is Wednesday, 20:00GMT.

I think the formation in the 9-ship pack is only the diamond.

We can always try  ;D
If you are planning on doing it ill fly one of the hawks for you ( only need 7 more red arrows and 1 for the concorde, the ninth red arrow isn't doing anything important in that pic  ;))

This sounds like a good idea. About a year or so back someone tried to do this but it never happend. Ozzy and I were doing a Spitfire formation dispaly for that one. If I'm able to be there on Saturday I'd like to join in if that's OK. I'll be flying a Spitfire of some sort but I'll have to fly a few in practice first to find the best one but I would guess it will be the AH Seafire IIc. :)

OK, after much thought I've decided that as the show is at Yeovilton it would only be right to fly one of the RNHF aircraft that live there so I'll be displaying the awesome Hawker Sea Fury FB.11 ;D For anyone who still has not got this superb aircraft it's about half way down this page:
http://www.simviation.com/fs2002vintage26.htm
It runs just fine in FS9, better than in 2K2 in fact.
Off to practice some low level stuff now, see you Saturday :)
