Man I would love to go flying everyday this week...but alas my school and work schedule does not permit much flying for the next 4 months or so... :(

I'll join you, wife, kids and dog permitting ....... The North of Scotland is rather nice for VFR flying especially if you have a good mesh for the area.  ;D

Ok, A little update on this, looks like its going to be Wednesday.

Eno i regularly fly low in jets around North of Scotland on Fs9, could be a good choice,

Also looking still at the Vintage/G.A aircraft to fly, but Depends where's chosen i might Be in the Lancaster or seafire just to be different lol.

how about this for a thought, Start Off from Heathrow or Gatwick in a Fighter/bomber formation? and fly to Conningsby or Cottesmore. would sure make for some nice screenshots if it could be pulled off.

Nemo

p.s i'll post the i.p addy for my computer on wednesday, just need to know who's goin to be taking part, its going to be around 7pm - 8 pm in the u.k, just don't ask about the time difference as i'm not too sure,

That sounds good to me!

We just have to make sure everyone has each others aircrafts, so we don't get a Beech King Air 350, in formation with a couple of B29s, that would look seriously odd. ;)

But then again, I wanted to fly WoP B-17 or B-29, and if you guys don't own that, I don't expect you to go out and buy it.

So if we really want some kick-ass screenshots, we have to use freeware aircrafts, all of us.

What do you guys think?

Keep it freeware and easy to find.   ;)  And post the exact plane so that all DO see the correct aircraft and particularly the correct PAINT.

best,

Good idea To post the aircraft that you are going to be using John

http://www.simviation.com/cgi-bin/syb.c ... nc_dam.zip .

Or the B29 also found here at SimV.

Hi all British Sim Pillocks Pilots...;D...!

As this is a first, encouraging try-out, wouldn't it be a good idea to use the default Cessna 172, or maybe a freeware Cessna 150/152 (CC-KAA), to ensure that everyone starts off with a level playing field, using a simple fixed undercarriage aircraft with a full, modern radio installation for communication and navigation...?
(Especially for those using FS Navigator)....;)...!

Once a sufficient number of members become interested with a simple set-up, then maybe more complex aircraft can be considered for longer runs...

Keep it simple to start off with, with short, local runs so no-one gets lost and misses out on their bacon sandwich at the destination airfield... ;)...!

Just a thought...;)...!

Paul...Cessna 152... 8)...!
Win 8.1 64-bit. DX11. Advent Tower. Intel i7-3770 3.9 GHz 8-core. 8 GB System RAM. AMD Radeon HD 7700 1GB RAM. DVD ROM. 2 Terra Byte SATA Hard Drive. Philips 17" LCD Monitor. Saitek Cyborg X Fly-5 Joystick. ...and a Briggs and Stratton Petrol Lawn Mower.

The Estimated Air time will be around 30mins to an Hour,
We will be taking off from Heathrow at Around 7pm (Uk time) and hopefully landing at either EGWW Luton.

As Paul said
Keep it simple to start off with, with short, local runs so no-one gets lost and misses out on their bacon sandwich at the destination airfield... ;)...!

Thats why the destination has been changed and also try to use a General Aviation aircraft like a cessna or a piper for the first couple of hops, and then use bigger aircraft for the next lot.

Hope you don't mind the changes.

Nemo.
