Stearman I think would be OK, but I think the Cub would be a little slower than the rest and you would quickly fall behind.. ;)

I still have no clue what time it would be over there..... ;)

By any chance is the I.P address the same as your previous flights?
Hopefully sould be in the Stearman but might try the PA23 out by Bill Lyons.

IP address will be posted later, unfortunately if the power goes out, or my router recycles it can sometimes switch to a new IP address.

This is the reason I have to post it every week, otherwise it may not be the same next week.. ;)

Nemo,

Do some testing out on Skype so that you can get it working.

And if this flying group gets any bigger...... we are going to have to change what we use for voice comms...... since Skype has a limit on the number of people in a conference call.

I vote for Teamspeak  ;).

best,

And I vote a big fat no on TeamSpeak. I've had more problems with that stupid program than you can imagine. I just hate it. Of course, if everyone else wants to use that, I won't object. I just hate it.

I'd rather just have 2 confrences on Skype. That's just my opinion. :P

John,

If my TS worked like you described it I would jump to it in a heartbeat!! :o

Anyways, my problems...

For one the quality seems really bad. The volume is one good thing about TS as it seems everyone sounds about the same. But for quality...that's another story. I've done a few online ATC sessions on WSPilots, and often I had to ask them to repeat. And other times...I wasn't sure if they were talking to me or someone else. Also sometime I have trouble getting in to a TS server. This has happened on severel TS servers.  And I was positive I was doing everything correctly.

But I don't know, maybe if I played with the settings a bit, I could get it to work better. :)

Let's see what the other guys think... ;)

Ben,

There are a number of options in Teamspeak of what codecs you use.
