US tour Flight # 12

Postby Jared » Fri Sep 02, 2005 9:25 pm

Hello all! Are you ready for another long flight? Well we have one in store for you this weekend!

On Saturday September 3rd at 9pm eastern standard time we will depart KATW (Appleton Wisconsin and fly to, C77 (Poplar Grove Illinois).

This flight will be approximately 117 Nautical miles so I would recommend something small and slow. I would also like to suggest the use of biplanes.. :) I myself will be using the LIC christen Eagle which can be found here in the props section I do believe.. :)

For general answer please refer to the general question thread:
http://www.simviation.com/cgi-bin/yabb/ ... 1123882151

Please remember to let us know if you will be coming and give us a heads up your skype name so we can give you a call when it comes time to go flying..

Hope to see you there,

Jared

I'll probably make it once again.  I'll just fly the black and yellow default C172.

We need to get some sponsorship to cover the AvGas... it's getting expensive.    ;)

best,

At that time [1909] the chief engineer was almost always the chief test pilot as well. That had the fortunate result of eliminating poor engineering early in aviation.

I'll be flying the FS2004 Northrop N-9MB Flying Wing.

It's a really great looking aircraft. Detailed interior and nice flight model.

You can find it here:

Katahu,

You might have a problem with the short total flight plan and the fact that the rest of us will likely be doing the "low and slow "GA thing".   ;)

You'll be there about 1 hour before us on an hour and 5 minute flight!  ;D

Still planning on being there...... just finished writing an article I needed to get done.

See ya'll soon, I hope.

best,

.................john

Hi Ben...!

What a bleedin' shame... :'(...!

I forced myself to stay awake 'till 1-O'clock, (an hour rafter my usual bed-time), and thought to myself, "I have to stay awake for another 4 hours, (including flight time)...
...this is not going to happen"... ::)...!
Buggar...!

Glad to know the flight went well, lads...I was accompanying you...in my dreams... ;)... ;D...!
LOL...!

Cheers all...!

Hi Kat...!
..over here, on this side of the "Pond"..(The Old World)...we do have terrible problems with all you in the "New World" as regards to the time difference...
While you happy band of New World flight simmers are chuffing happily around in the late evening...we Old World flight simmers are generally tucked up in our cosy beds cuddling out Teddy Bears... ;)... ;D...!

...this is an insurmountable problem...as Jordan sometimes remind me... :'(...!
LOL...!
