idiot crashed on VATSIM

Postby cobzz » Thu Jul 14, 2005 5:27 am

Ok, I was sitting waiting to takeoff from runway 25L or something. I say Roger position and hold. 5minutes later I say, In position and holding (he never replied for ages) Then he sais " sorry, we've got a king air on emergency final" I watch the king air come in on the parerwell runway, 50degree dives then 10degree nose high. He floated above the runway for AGES going WAY to fast. He then pushed the nose down and crashed! SOOO  FUNNY!

^Yeah but emergencies on Vatsim are all pretty avoidable and if someone does crash it's nearly 100% of the time the pilots fault. Once, I was holding short at KLGA and the plane in front of me, I believe it was an American MD-80, over-rotated and stalled maybe 200 ft. or so above the threshold...but probably the two most common accidents that occur over Vatsim are fuel emergencies and pilots mistaking ATC instructions whether it be headings, speeds, or pilots landing on the wrong runways.
