I'd join if it was earlier on in the day. 10:00 AM sounds good though.

For those Europeans who might be interested in an earlier start  I'll be testing  my FSHost server @ 16:00hrs GMT  which is 11:00hrs EST.

IP  84.65.181.149

I will also attempt to start a Teamspeak server on the same IP.

cheers in advance for anyone willing to be a Guinea Pig.

Well this sounds like a great idea. I think this post should be made sticky in the main FS2k4 and 2k2 forum areas so more people can read it. Now I will put in my suggestions for it:

Time: GMT with a set time of day for all.

Place: Good scenery, and an airport appropriate to the size of aircraft we will be flying, this would help controll people that want to come in with concordes and `mess things up.

Aircraft: Each week could be a different type. EG: Week 1- Small and light single engine props. Week 2- Heavy transport aircraft.

As for a server maybe we could set something up with Eskyworld or Vatsim to host a server for us once a week. What would they benifit from this? Well they would get more publicity thus have more people come and fly with them and help make this sim "As Real As It Gets" and they always do have a free flght server hosted on Eskyworld that maybe they could let us use for one day a week.  Tell me what you think! ;D

Uerm, ummm, how about no, I don't tell anyone what I think, makes it harder for people to nitpick at me! :-)

Besides it would take me hours to explain to everyone what I think. .;-)

Hey Paul, do you have any firewalls turned on? That turned out to be the problem for me.. If it wasnt for SimV, I would have never guessed that Win XP's internal firewall was bieng the troublemaker all along..

lol, I just downloaded the flight1 Cessna 152 tonight.. ;-)

Welcome addition to my hangar! Now if I can get my isntruments to do something I'll be all set.. ;-)

Be on the lookout for a repaint in the very near future as the 150 and 152 are the primary aircraft owned and operated by Kent State University (My school!)

Actually....
I tell a bit of a fib there... ::)...!
If I press the "S" key on my keyboard, a plane suddenly pops up in front of me, looking identical to my plane... :o...!
...even the pilot looks just like me... :o...!
....and follows me around everywhere... :-[...!

How's that for strange... ::)...?
