They say they know who the hacker is, and have told the UK police. I guess the hacker might be from the UK then. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/technology/8244028.stm

I know that AVSIM would not do it, and it is illegal to do it, but it is only MY PERSONAL OPINION, but I feel that AVSIM should be allowed to gain access to the perpertrators computer and erase their harddrive in retaliation.  Again, this is only my person view, it may or may not be shared by others, so please do not rip me too hard.

Not only should they have their harddrive(s) erased, they should be "tagged" to never be allowed to have Internet Service for the rest of their lives, as well as spending a MINIMUM 30 days of Jail that is Mandatory, and to pay restitution in the amount to equal what the company (avsim) had to pay its employees to reconstruct the servers.

All except the "wipe their computer" part sounds good.
