Just a few comments from the McAfee site advisor:
MAN, AVOID this site! they will rip you off from all your money with the bid packs.
I'm not sure how to categorize this but, I remember when my uncle was infected with a trojan it led to this site. Just use eBay. There's been a better shopping experience to be had there and this site's kinda shady.
It is terrible, and impossible so each item may go for cheap but they reap the profits everytime... wondering how? Each time a bid is bought 50p and a bid is placed the time for the bid goes up, so the more bidders the more money..... But if you wish to be refunded for the bids you have not used they may agree, but I am still waiting to be refunded (its still only been half an hour though) we will see...
Be prepared to spend several hundred dollars to win an auction if you want a high end item like a tv or computer. You have to buy bids at $1.
Plus the auction may LOOK like it's ending in the next 8 seconds, but every time someone bids, time is added to the clock. There's a definite final end date but it's sually distant.
The site is legit, but if you dont read the fine print, you'll get taken advantage of. I'm lucky(?) I only lost $20 on bidding.
