Ramos @ the VLA (Very Large Arrray)

Postby legoalex2000 » Mon Jul 02, 2007 8:23 pm

went to the Very Large Array 50 miles (80 km) west of Socorro, NM. If you saw the movie "Contact" (Jodie Foster) thats the same VLA. big stuff. I saw one of them move twice, man thats a lotta weight to move.

quick facts: these 27 Satellites (82' diameter) work more efficently than one big one (like in Puerto Rico). and the Radio recievers behind the dish are chilled to 18

i contest to this being moved here. these are photos, it shouldn't matter where they are located.

i threw in extra info for people to find out more on the VLA.

The photos are located on another site ........ just the same as Anet photos are .... and we move them from the photo forum too. There is also the issue of them not being your photos ..... as stated in the forum notes.
