Do a zero visibility ILS landing with crosswind. 2D panel view only. Realism sliders on full. ;D

Pretty good. Now all you have to do is fly a manual ILS landing in a 737 with a 36knot crosswind at night ;)

im confused, why would you want to hit the 3rd wire?   That way if you miss the  you only have 1 chance left.

Aim for the first, and miss it, you still have 3 chances left?

Dose anyone know how i can turn the runway lighting intensity up?, i was trying to land on the carrier at night and couldnt see it untill i was right on top of it

I don't know why, but navy pilots are taught to go for the third wire, and by all means not the first wire, it's too close to the ramp!

I can't help on the runways lights, sorry.

When you can put an An-225 on the deck you're getting as good (and mental) as me ;)

He said "put", not "land". 8)

It's all a matter of slewing the 225 there. ;) ;D

who slewed? i have a screenshot i took of an 747 doing an approach and catching the 3 wire.

Speaking of the 3 wire, the reason they go for it, is that the 3 wire is right in line with a 3.5 degree glideslope which is normal for carrier landing. so if you fly the ball all the way to touchdown you'd ctach a 3 wire theoretically
