voz is awsome I have been using it since 0.99, I don't see why your all complaining about the textures they are far supirior to the default.

Different tastes I guess. Frankly, I like the textures.

I LOVE the textures!  They are great!

Some of the textures in VOZ cause performance issues and also overwrite world texture files. I find many of them to not be visually appealing either, especially when they screw up other parts of the world. I use VOZ too, just not the world textures it overwrites.

But it overwrites after making a backup, and I never noticed a performance hit

Problem is, it doesn't just overwrite Aussie textures. The textures look pretty terrible in the UK... looks more like savannah than grassland/fields.

So use a different area  I find that the North region works very well virtually (no pun in intended) everywhere
