Historic Jetliners Group: good flight dynamics?

Postby jimhalinda » Fri Sep 09, 2005 10:18 am

I've downloaded numerous 707 and DC-8 models from the Historic Jetliners Group. I love these old jets, and think they've done a great job with providing models that are as historically accurate as possible (ie. correct model/livery/engine combinations).

I'm not an experienced sim pilot, just getting into it, and I was wondering what people thought of HJG's flight dynamics? Are they accurate with respect to the planes they're modelling?

Just wondering how they stack up against the flight dynamics for the Captian Sim payware 707, for example.

There don't seem to be any reviews that discuss HJG's flight models. Any comments appreciated.

Thanks,

Jim

I am a very, very frequent flyer of the HJG models and quite frankly...I love them. The Flight Dynamics are awesome and the things actually feel heavy at the controls...

I don't fly big jets very often, but when I need to for screenshot contests or whatever, I usually use an HJG plane. I think the flight dynamics are pretty good, like woozey said, they give a good impression of weight and size. I've been waiting for them to bring out their updated RC-135 for about a year now. ::)
