New Ads

I don't know but is it me or is there new ads displayed on the forums? Some are really unnecessary such as the " YOU ARE THE 999,999,999 Visitor" and the "Britney Spears as you Have never seen her before" things. If you can could you remove them Pete? I don't mind if they are kept but I am just saying.

Unfortunately running SimV costs a LOT of money... to support the open and free bandwidth Pete supplies for downloads to anyone.  Ads are aprt of what pays for that.  The ads are contracted out to ad agencies... so they are constantly selling space to new clients.

The ads that we want to know about are AUDIO ads...... that start talking when you open the page.  Are these audio ads?  If so, we''ll try to track them down and get rid of them.

If the pop-up ads really bother you, maybe consider a Premier Membership... it costs less than a lot of FS payware and it supports SimV.  And you get really fast download speed if your connection is up to it.

Has no-one else noticed the 'help me!' ads with the fish that sometimes show up? they are audible; you get a little fish-voice saying 'help me!' and then if you do, it'll both open a new page and go 'thankyou'... :-? :-?

Thanks. It's not SimV's fault. I just got infected with a ton of adware. Got rid of them.

Oh by the way spitfire boy I suggest you scan your computer for adware too. I never see the fish ads anywhere.
