Hello, first post.

Just a quick note to say how much I have liked this site.  I shall consider a membership.

I have had FSX for some months and never had any previous FS.  Just getting to speed now and terrorising the ATC online with the Military Jets I have found here... ;)

Many thanks to all contributors and staff here.

Kind Regards,
Paul Nelson

well the download speed is so bad I have plenty of time to read these forums......hmmm, $19.95 eh ?  ;)

I have a question , since i'm here I'll ask it now:  The P-40 Kitty Hawk is so loud I cant hear ATC and the Volume control for Engine does squat , is there a way to edit the Sound.cfg file to 'turn down to engine volume' ?   I had a look but nothing in the .cfg appeared to be it , tried altering a few values but to no avail.

In such cases does one just grab a sound file from a similar airframe (not preferable though).   ahhh, crappy plane anyways, much prefer the P-51....

in case your wondering, I have to take the P-51 'cause I get in too much trouble in the F-16 with the ATC's  8-)

thanks again,
Nelson
