Looks a little weird on my pocket PC. Some posts seem to have a very narrow text wrap, while others go off the screen and need to be scrolled. I'll compare them on my PC to see if there's a reason.

Very efficient changeover though chaps, well done! 8)

Personally I prefer the old forum, but I suppose ill get used to it

Also i dont like the fact you have to scroll on peoples signitures.

PS.....The colours are a bit to pale for my liking.

it is better than having to scroll the entire topic instead ;)

All complaints .. don't assume this it IT.

This is simply the main install. Like a car straight out of respray booth.

Had to make it live due to time & resources to convert messages.

Over then nect short time we will refine things.

& then ........

Convert to a PHP based forum.

Reason? Because PHP is far less server hungry & has more scope. I aim to keep changes to a minimum.

As for visuals right now - they will change & be improved.

Please always remember that Simviation genuinely IS run for our users. No one could ever offer a  coherent argument against that.  When it comes to the site -- We listen - we act (when we can)  ;).

Well i've gotta say it: PHP! if this thing still uses flat-file databases im going to cry :'( But this is okay, the colour scheme is cool, but it just isnt SimV if you know what i mean. I'll get used to it. Good work!

Hi everyone!

I'm a new user here. I had been reading these forums occasionally for the past number of months, but never joined until now.

I think one thing we do now need is a vertical limit for sig size, as it's frustrating scrolling down a page, then it stops to scroll a sig, then continues - and if the thread been posted on with that sig more than once, it happens each time...

Do you know how to write  CSS?  I fixed it with:

Code: Select all
.scroll{overflow:hidden !important;}
