30kb still, but what size will ensure that the scroll bar is eliminated??

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.

That depends on what screen resolution you have (and how big the viewing window is). . .it is different for everyone.

I am running a 17inch widescreen @ 1440x900 and only need to scroll when the window is small. Any specific sig you are having problems with?

I've used 1024x768 on my 17" monitor for years so I'm not about to change it now. The scroll bars show up on all sig images in this thread using the Firefox browser at this resolution.

To be honest I find most of these large sigs annoying to say the least. >:( [smiley=tongue.gif]

Now that we can all change our profiles easily, can't we have better restrictions on peoples sig width? Say.... width no more than 500 px? It would make the place look a lot neater rather than having these goddam scrollbars all over the place!  :D  ::)

Yes. I suspect everyone will see it differently. As I mentioned in another topic it all depends on your desktop display settings & the browser you're using. My desktop is set at 1024x768 & my comments apply to the Firefox browser. I get no scroll bars at all* using IE6.

*PS. On the sig images in this topic.
