Sports Forum

This is just another suggestion (probably already suggested, lol) but maybe there could be a sports forum where people would post whats going on in sports. It could be anything from professional sports to your own school sports  ;D

I love sports as much as the next guy, but I'd much rather go to a sports oriented website to talk about 'em.  Mainly because I'm more likely to deal with people who know about and have a genuine interest in what I'm talking about.

Personally, I like that this is primarily a sim-board.  That's what I come here for.

Just my two.
Great edit, Bob.

I don't think there should be a sports board.  As many of you know I'm a HUGE sports fan (especially for american football) but I think there are too many boards as it is.  I think that sports should stay in the General and Cafe boards.

Please, please, PLEASE ..NO...!
I come here to avoid all the mind-numbing football, cricket, baseball, basketball, tennis, golf, snooker, here is a ball now kick/hit the crap out of it, malarky which infects our radio and television every minute of the day... >:(...!
I ask my family, friends, neighbours, people in the street, etc, and everyone seem to be fed up to the back teeth with endless sport in the media... :o...!
There seems to be little way of avoiding it save for constantly changing radio/television channels, or tearing the rear-half out of our daily papers.. :'(...!
God* preserve us all from "sports"... ;)...!
I'm a keen motorcyclist, but I don't expect to ram "motorcycling events" down everyones neck, day after day... 8)...!

Cheers all... ;D...!

Paul...let's just keep to flying here...Please...just for me... ;)...!
LOL...I've got to laugh, otherwise it's too depressing... :'(...!

*and I'm not the slightest bit religeous... ;)...!

I totally agree with Paul! I too come here to get away from all the "jock" stuff. This is an aviation forum with a few other forums to keep it colorful. If you want to talk sports, there are many forums to do this in!  ;D

we seem to do ok with the gen discussion for the sports talk that does go on. Looking forward to another football pool thingy this year. But a whole forum is a little excessive.

Based on the negative reaction, i would say that there won't be a sports forum. :-[
